I know that “garlic tea” may sound strange, but it is a delicious and health-promoting good habit to develop. Especially during flu and cold season.

Many of us truly enjoy a good hot cup of this delicious brew, not only for its spicy taste, but also for the good things it does for the body.

Needless to say, this tea has a wonderful “warming” effect on the body and it isn’t long after drinking it that you can begin to feel its “let’s get down to business and clean this place up” attitude.

If you don’t get all the results you want with the first cup, don’t give up. Just keep on drinking it every two or three hours. And, more than likely, you will probably be happily surprised to get the results you are looking for.

Garlic tea is said, to be good for:

Healing Sore Throat

Clearing Earache

Stopping Coughs

Clearing up Flu

Lowering High Blood Pressure

Supporting Heart Health

Clearing Congestion

Anti-inflammatory

Anti-fungal

Killing cancer cells in lungs

Protecting bones

And the list goes on. However, I can truly attest to the fact that the first nine of these claims are absolutely true. I have personally seen them work with myself, my family and friends.

There is one thing, though, garlic tea is not a social drink for most people. Its smell can be quite a challenge. Other than that, enjoy and be well.

 

GARLIC TEA

1 or 2 cloves of garlic crushed*

Honey to taste

1 cup hot water

Lemon to taste

Stir until all ingredients are mixed well and honey is melted.

 

*One or more teaspoons of garlic powder or granules can be used in place of crushed garlic cloves. Mix the powder or granules with thr honey first, then add hot water and lemon.
