If we truly believe in the immutable power of God, then there is no need for worry. If we truly believe that He holds every thread of our lives in the palm of His hand, then there is no need to fear.
“Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?
“Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?” — Matthew 6:25-26 (KJV)
Focusing on the power of God is easy. Look at the stars. Look at the heavens and the earth, the work of his handiwork. Man can make electricity to do his bidding, but he can neither create it nor control the lightning when it plays.
Look at the sun. Man can make lights that will mimic the spectrum of its rays, but he cannot make a sun. He cannot create vitamin D or probe directly into the sun itself. None of his creations can compare to those of his God.
Look at your life. When you release all things with joy into the hands of the Father, everything becomes a glory unto Him, and your life an adventure that, though at times unpredictable, is always full of goodness.
Believe that God has the power, and the peace of His Spirit will follow.
“By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” — Romans 5:2 (KJV)
