Sometimes the day begins to weigh upon us early on, or we discover that there are things we simply cannot accomplish without help. Sometimes it feels like no one is willing to help, no matter how much they love us.

We ask for help and don’t receive it. We ask for help and get someone’s idea of help that doesn’t help us at all. We ask for help and are promised help that never arrives.

But our help does not come from man, no matter how loved nor how important to our lives.

“My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.” — Psalms 121:2 KJV

It’s helpful to focus in each moment of need on our Provider, the King of Kings, who owns all things and has all power, who is mighty to save and cares for us.

“Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.” — Psalms 37:5 KJV
