Christ in us, He is our hope
The Light that burns inside our souls
Darkness cannot put it out
Only we are in control

Christ our Light, He will not leave
If to Him, we ever cling
Darkness cannot come between
In our hands is everything

Christ our strength, He is the Vine
Our source of all we need in life
Darkness cannot take our prize
When we hold to Christ, our Light

Christ our joy in every test
It’s in His Presence that we are kept
That darkness cannot plague our steps
For in Christ, we find true rest
