Introduction
God tells us that the way back to Him is so simple even a fool cannot make a mistake in following it.
“And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein. “ (Isaiah 35:8 KJV)
I took note when listening to the radio, when the statement was made that Satan’s plan of attack against the children of God is always to divide and conquer. He uses everything, families, friends, loved ones, truth, etc. to divide and conquer. This is something God has continued to make His children aware of. God has explained how truth has been divided, scattered, and mixed with lies by Satan to cause confusion, misunderstanding and misjudgment.
God the Father has said we need to simplify our lives by knowing the pure truth. Therefore, He is undoing Satan’s work. He is gathering the fragmented truth back into its original oneness so we can understand and use it. Then, out of that thought came some statements or seeds of truth which He called the Power of One.
SEEDS OF THE POWER OF ONE
❖ SEED ONE—THERE IS ONLY ONE GOD AND HE IS YOUR FATHER.
“Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD:” (Deuteronomy 6:4)
“Wherefore David blessed the LORD before all the congregation: and David said, Blessed be thou, LORD God of Israel our father, forever and ever.” (1 Chronicles 29:10)
“Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.” (Ephesians 1:2 KJV)
“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;” (1 Timothy 2:5 KJV)
“There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;” (Ephesians 4:4 KJV)
“One Lord, one faith, one baptism,” (Ephesians 4:5 KJV)
“One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.” (Ephesians 4:6 KJV)
All things come from the glory of God. Yea, all things cometh from God’s glory, power, joy and peace. There is one God from Whom all goodness (godness) flows. (An aside; the word goodness really means “godness” or that which is like and of God. Understanding what goodness is, helps us to understand Who God is.)
Truly “Our God is One God” in ways not yet apparent or visible to us. But, consider the earth in all its glory—trees, streams, green things, and moving things, including man (his body)—all these things are of and from and part of the earth. Therefore, it could be said our earth is one and it would include everything previously mentioned.
Even so is our God one, including all that is, yet far more distinctly diverse than all diversity or parts of earth. As a matter of fact, earth is a part of that diversity.
God’s joyous presence is as fully expressed throughout, or in us, our spirits or souls, as earth is present in our bodies.
Although it may seem that you are composed of many parts, you are one in Christ, one in your indwelling Father, who is one in God Almighty. Thus, you too are an expression of the “Power of One”. Once this principle is truly understood, accepted and lived or acted upon, meaning that you recognize and accept that this principle is the truth of what is and will always remain true and be obedient in your actions, you will become one with your Father and that is of glory. Evil is soon to be ended and is not a part of God, therefore, it will have no part in you, nor will you have any part in it. Only God’s glory and goodness, presence and joy is eternal. All that is not of that blessed glory is soon passed forever and completely disbembrated.
God the Father sends us this message: “I love you my children. Know the truth and be free. Pray that My Spirit disseminates this truth in your hearts and gives you complete understanding that you may be one with Me and fulfill the glory of your inheritance and destiny. Cast out all fear, for I love you forever without end or condition. Return my love, meaning take the love I have given you, accept it and cherish it and return it to Me enhanced with your joyous blessing and so shall you be free, free from all that is unlike Me, especially free from all fear. And so shall we be forever one.”
Glory, honor and praise be to our God forever and ever more! “Truly Our God is One God”!!!
❖ SEED TWO—THERE IS ONLY ONE COMMANDMENT AND THAT IS:
“And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.” (Luke 10:27 KJV)
“On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Matthew 22:40 KJV)
These two commandments are one. They say you are to love. First love God and then love man. It is all about love. And, as you can see love is the basis for all the other commandments, concerning both God and man. The breaking of this commandment violates all the other commandments.
All the other commandments tell you the things to do in order to keep this commandment. Worshipping other gods violates love for God; Stealing violates love for your fellowman; etc., etc. Therefore, keeping this foundational commandment fulfills all other of God’s commandments.
❖ SEED THREE—THERE IS ONLY ONE SIN AND THAT IS DISOBEDIENCE TO GOD.
Disobedience to God, Who loves and cares for us and protects and keeps us from hurt, harm and danger. Disobedience to the laws that provide life and joy. Disobedience to the voice of conscience that tells us when we are about to or have done something wrong. Disobedience to the moral laws of God and man. Every sin committed is some form of disobedience to God. Obey God and you have no sin.
Summary
So far, we have discussed the first three seeds of the Power Of One. Basically these three seeds lay the foundation for the rest of the other seeds; The One God, who is our Father, His glory, His goodness, and His great love for us.
