“Behold, the days are coming, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah—” — Jeremiah 31:31 NKJV

“In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, ‘This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.'” — I Corinthians 11:25 NKJV

Have you ever considered that for there to be a new covenant, there was an original covenant? Have you ever had questions about whether anything about the original covenant was applicable to our lives? In studying deeply concerning the prophecies of the Messiah, the Branch of Zion, and the extensive appearance of references to Christ throughout the Old Testament, there is a great deal of information the Christian Church seems to rarely talk about, things that bear witness to the importance of Christ and His role in Scripture and prophecy and the everlasting promises of God.

“Do not think that I came to destroy the Law or the Prophets. I did not come to destroy but to fulfill.” — Matthew 5:17 NKJV

This DVD goes with care and clear, simple language through the history of God’s covenants with the founders of our faith, from the very beginning of the Bible and sheds new light on the way in which Christ does indeed fulfill the promises of the original covenants with Abraham, with Moses, and with David. It paints a picture we so rarely think about of just what sorts of promises Christ came to fulfill.

In truth, Jesus Christ was born to fulfill the promises of God to the father of our faith, the first prophet to speak with God face to face, and to the man after God’s own heart. Each one of these covenants that God made was unconditional and eternal, promised with God’s own words and sealed by Him. We as Christians are inheritors of promises that are not always preached, and the meaning of Christ’s first coming and also His second coming in the last days are tied up in the original promises given us by God.

“Therefore it is of faith that it might be according to grace, so that the promise might be sure to all the seed, not only to those who are of the law, but also to those who are of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all…” — Romans 4:16 NKJV

I highly recommend watching this DVD with a notebook in hand and studying further on the details it contains. It gives new perspective to those of us who have inherited the blessings and promises of Abraham and entered into a life in Christ.
