Have you ever really thought about what being “Born of the Spirit” or “Born Again” means? Many people think to be “Born Again” simply means being baptized with water or being able to speak in tongues.

The Presence is not a new book from Bunn, but it is one of his best known and most powerful. The story is not about salvation and the new Christian so much as about what the mature walk of faith of a true Christian is supposed to look like, even in the face of much opposition, even in the public sphere.
The words, “As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he,” appear within the first few pages and establish the theme of the book, one well-supported by Scripture.
Who are the children of God and how do we recognize them? By our fruits, we are known. Others who have not come to Christ recognize us by our fruits, as scripture says and makes clear.
In today’s world, things are hectic and stressful. We have an American President who seems determined to destroy the country and is unwilling to go after the ISIS terrorists who have beheaded an American citizen and have threatened to attack the USA. And this is just the tip of the iceberg!
Then here at home we have so many things to do; besides our jobs, paying bills
Isn’t it amazing! It’s almost scary how fast time goes by! And, speaking of scary, reading the newspaper and watching or listening to the news can make your hair “stand on end”. Which brings me to something I have been thinking about a lot lately.
